This wonderful and often emotional night, celebrates ordinary people doing extraordinary things for our community.

First and foremost, Core is a human business and to that end, one of our most fundamental principles is that we believe in trying to positively impact the lives of everyone we deal with on a daily basis.

Everyone has their own particular back story and none of us know what may be going on behind the scenes in someone’s life or on any given day.

Therefore, it is our belief that every interaction should be positive and if you have the opportunity to help someone, or to put a smile on their face, then you should take this opportunity as it really does make a difference.

Our teachers live this principle day in day out, positively impacting the lives of dozens, maybe hundreds of people….not just their pupils and students, but also the families of those they teach and our wider communities as a whole. They do this with humility and a real desire to make a difference.

The efforts of these ordinary people are by no means ordinary and should inspire us all to be more than ordinary in what we do, whilst remaining humble as we do it.
